Most of the safaris that we think of take place in Africa because the game is diverse and plentiful in large tracts of savannah and wetlands. We have escorted and planned many, many safaris for families and groups. Each country and camp is different and offers differing experiences. Choices are complex and require in depth knowledge to make the right selections. For example, there are wet camps vs. dry camps, tents vs. lodges, fly-in vs. drive-in, luxury vs. budget. To make the selection even more difficult, different animals are seen in different places at different times and in different quantities.
